    FAQ's

What does the season rate include?
    • Campers may keep their unit on their lot year round. While the camping season runs from May 1st - October 15th, your winter storage will continue on site if your deposit for the following year is paid by September 1st.
    • Metered 30/50 amp electric, good-tasting water, sewer hookup, and cable connection.
    • Use of all camp facilities, including the olympic-size pool, modern shower house, recreation facilities, and laundromat. The pavilion is available free of charge for your family reunions or picnics (all guests pay regular gate fee, or use your early-payment free passes).
When is the season camping fee due?
      • For returning campers, a deposit of $150 is due by September 1 for the following year. The balance is due in full no later than April 1. Incentives are given for early payment.
      • For new campers, a deposit is due with your signed application. The balance is due by April 1, or prior to using the facilities if joining us after that time.
        Do you allow golf carts?
        • One golf cart is permitted per site. Golf carts must be insured, and registered in the office. Golf carts are for the use of the 'non-dependent adults' (mom & dad); guests and children are not permitted to drive golf carts.
Can I bring in my own firewood?
          • Due to the pests threatening our trees, the Department of Agriculture has placed a quarnatine on the movement of wood in some counties in PA as well as all out-of-state wood. Campers may only purchase wood from within Mercer County; firewood is available here at Shenango Valley RV Park as well at a reasonable price.
            Do you allow pets?
            • We know that your pets are like family members! We welcome responsible pet owners to bring your pet with you, as long as they are non-aggressive, quiet, and you clean up after them.
Is there anything for my kids to do?
              • Yes! Shenango Valley RV Park is a family-friendly park. Facilities include playgrounds, a huge pool, fishing on the river, and great streams to play in. Every weekend brings scheduled activities that are kid friendly. Check out our Activity Schedule! There's even a library of books and videos to sign out free of charge.
